Yeah, where would America be without Texas?

Big Phil fan here, too - gives him confidence to win US Open.

Interesting comment from Woods who said he popped out a finger bone and put it back in during his round. That sure sounded like BS to me and glad Faldo alluded it was BS to him, too.

Faldo made a comment. He said that there are twenty bones in your hand. Faldo's subtle (sarcastic?) intonations practically make watching the broadcast worthwhile by themselves.

Wish he would have beaten Woods’ record for the final round. If only that last putt would’ve made it!

Nerves. Sometimes even the coolest characters get them. Like Jim Nance (I think) said, worst shot of his tournament.

The list of American-hating evil native Texans include: Dan Rather, Domingo Garcia, Bob Scheiffer, Willie Nelson, Lloyd Doggett, Scott Pelley and numerous others. Though fortunate enough to have been born here, none are true Texans. Both Senator Ted Cruz and Ted Nugent were born elsewhere but have fully embraced Texas values and are true Christian Patriots.

Jordan Spieth takes home $1,800,000, while Mickelson & Justin Rose tie for 2nd will split $1,760,000.

Not bad for a week in Augusta.

Yes that probably explains it. I would have thought that since he had the win, he would have played without pressure on the 18th.

There are people from New York who love America. I know, because I am one of them, Every state has its debris. I will take Texas any day of the week, despite your list. In fact, if Texas became a sovereign country, I would emigrate there.

After the secessionists told me they were going to deport everybody on Medicare and not let them have the money from selling their homes, I knew that was not place to retire to, LOL

Looking at him now during the awards ceremony, Spieth looks a bit like Peyton Manning, another Christian who has excelled in sports.

but Spieth is gonna be cue ball bald before age 25 - it’s the only flaw I can detect. Dude is a friggin beast, mentally and with that swing.
