A 3-year-old fatally shot a 1-year-old at a Cleveland house during the weekend, according to police, who said they are seeking to arrest the adult who left the gun in the home.
The 1-year-old, identified as Braylon Robinson, was shoot in the face on Sunday, police said on Monday.
"The mother was in the room with the children facing away from them when she heard a single gunshot. The mother then observed the victim lying on the floor bleeding," according to statement released by Cleveland police.
Police said the gun was left in a home where several children were playing. No arrests were made as of Monday morning.

Back when I had young kids, and before that unfortunate boating accident, I was extremely careful with firearms. My kids had no opportunity to do something like this until they were capable of understanding and following safety rules. Now it doesn’t matter - unless my kids are wearing scuba gear.
Tots are probably depressed like the rest of us.
In case anyone’s wondering, Cleveland has the types of gun laws which correspond with what is expected in a city run by Democrats (except for two Republican mayors who slid in during Dem internecine squabbles and bouts of temporary sanity) for the past sixty plus years.

It’s ok. Common Core will fix this...........
The mother was in the room but not looking. Uh-huh, I believe this. Something does not add up here. I confess that I know nothing about guns, so I have to ask: How easy is it for a 3-year-old to squeeze a trigger?

They’re looking for the person who left the gun there but not arresting the mother who was right there in the room? Makes no sense to me.
