I’m in Clearwater. Last week went in the liquor store. Asked the guy if they were going out of business, because the shelves were about 2/3 empty. Nope, just the spring breakers, who will drink absolutely anything, apparently.
From what this resident told me, at one time the residents tolerated the miscreants because it was temporary and there was money to be made from all these visitors. But at some point the destruction and crime became more expensive than any profit gained.
