We did not have as many dangerous chemicals in our food. We did not have Ruby Ridge or Wacko either. The big get togethers were like Woodstock. The government did not spy on you without a warrant. You could get 8 hamburgers at McDonalds for $1.00 and gas was around $0.25.
Yes it was dangerous times.
It was definitely more dangerous in terms of injuries and deaths. The “controls” today have made certain things safer. There’s no doubt about that. I guess some people would prefer more deaths these days, instead ... :-) ...
