One the other, they claim every noteworthy historical person was one of them.

Actually, it’s a pretty open secret that Lincoln slept in the same bed with other men. Look it up. Slept. Not had sex. It was common in that time to rent space in beds in crowded hotels when rooms were full. Private rooms were very expensive.
