A Wal-Mart official said Tuesday that more than 100 plumbing issues
plagued the north Midland Wal-Mart location over the last two years and
that repeated attempts to fix them failed.
A Wal-Mart official told the Reporter-Telegram that the company usually
gives more advance notice to its employees about a store closure. But he
said that the 60 days pay that the company is giving employees who are
not transferred is in lieu of that notice.
