AND in fact... Before the video EVIDENCE was released, Slager actually moved the taser next to Scott’s body. He didn’t put that in his report.

Wonder what he was thinking?

Did he lie in his report?

More broadly speaking, do some police officers lie in their official reports? What is the rank of evidence from police testimony and reports? Pretty high up there?

I don’t think most do, so I’m not painting with a broad brush, BUT for those cops that would move evidence/perjure/lie/file false reports, I have nothing but anger and hatred. THOSE need to spend MORE time in jail than normal citizens for doing such things, because of the trust, authority and responsibilities we give them as officers.

I read that the object dropped near Scott was the Taser holster. Even if that is true, he shouldn’t have moved it.

Did he lie in his report?

The SLED Agent did not accuse him of lying, they may have thought that he handled the truth mighty reckless. What they said was that they were suspicious because his story did not match up with the facts. They were investigating further. Then the man showed up with the video.
