I wish my teacher knew that, at one point, teaching was an honorable profession, but has now turned in to a low paid position with the propaganda wing of the communist party.

“I’m trying to remember if any country ever survived for long once they lost control of the borders.”

Judging from what I’ve seen happen in California the answer is ‘no’.

“A nation that cannot control its borders is not a nation.”- Ronald Reagan

“A nation without borders is like a house without walls - it collapses. And that is what is going to happen to our wonderful America.” -Jan Brewer

“Who needs America anyway?”-Barack Obama

I wish my teacher knew that my Dad has been deported three times for getting blackout drunk and smashing into random strangers on the freeway.

I wish my teacher knew that my Dad chops peoples’ heads off after he skins them for Los Zetas.

So...pencil deprivation = playmate absence = deportation to Mexico? Oblahblah hasn’t deported anyone in the last 6 years except for felons too stupid to stay below the radar. My guess is Padre is a serial rapist or he took the fall for a cartel honcho in order to bankroll the kid in the land of the free. All in all, a ham-handed Goebbelsization to lubricate the ingestion of crap with a healthy dose of ‘aw, gee’.

Why would a kid wish his teacher knew that? I didn’t wish my teacher knew stuff about my family or what I felt about my family when I was nine.

I wish my teacher could teach me math without mentioning homosexuality, lesbians and condoms in the questions.

What most go through the Israeli people’s minds when they look around and see Russia selling SAMs to Iran, China building new nuke facilities there, Europe planning on imposing sanctions, America’s president abandoning them, incursions on all sides...it must wear one down. The good thing is Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia Want them to attack Iran, and Syria is in position to threaten them. I think some Saudi TV host told Israel that God is with them and they must attack Iran, and that the Sauds would supply the gasoline needed. Strange times indeed.

I wish my teacher knew that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, in spite of His banishment from the classroom.

I guess I should rephrase my question. Has any country in history ever HAPPILY let its borders be overrun and survived?
I guess Cubans who were let in under that idiot Carter ended up being a good thing for republicans. And they weren’t vetted. I wonder whatever happened to the large portion of prisoners that were sent during the boatlift.

I've been thinking of Babylon and Rome for about 20 years now. Not long after I started thinking about what happened to them due to developments in this country, I joined Free Republic. It has only gotten worse.
