What a satisfying outcome for your Boss. That’s like when Reagan fired all those pilots who refused to cross a picket line. He called their bluff, and the strikers were furious staying that way for years.

He and I weren’t working together at the time. We worked together back in 1979-80. He was on my crew and one of my trainees. He learned how much fun it is to run lazy bums off from me.

His boss wasn’t too happy when he did it but about a week later his boss came around to his way of thinking.

Even worse when the rig they were building was taken offshore and being moved to a location a big piece of the rig broke off because the old welders weren’t just lazy they were a pack of screw ups.

Could have gotten a lot of people killed had the rig started coming apart while it was drilling.
