We never did anything on Sunday except church, visitors and special trips when the children were small. It was truly a day of rest and all families and peoples can do this.
It occurred to me 15 minutes ago, that we sometimes went out to eat after church - all 6 of us.
Which means ‘we’ were ‘forcing’ restaurants to be open on Sundays, thus ‘forcing’ some people to have to work that day!
Then it was back to home, where the older kids did homework - on SUNDAY!!! Who didn’t do homework at the last minute??!
Truly. Of course there was the “Sunday drive” if entertainment was needed. :-)
