Pacquiao vs. Mayweather has me intrigued. Who do you think will win?

I'd prefer Manny, but I think Mayweather will win.

Your opinions?

Great analysis, but Manny today is not the Manny of 5 years ago that’s part of the reason Mayweather is willing to fight him now.

Mayweather won the fight when it was decided it would be held in Las Vegas. Mayweather is a huge money maker for the casinos and city. The judges will be biased in his favor. Maidana beat Mayweather in the first fight, but the judges gave it to Mayweather. The same thing will happen in this fight.

That’s exactly how I feel. I just don’t know if Manny can withstand the first 5/6 rounds. If he lasts past that, his chances go way up..

Mayweather won't tire. He doesn't throw a lot of punches. He pot shots with his jab and occasionally throws an over hand right. His defense, with rolling his shoulder and ducking his head away, has been the key to his success.

Like most of Mayweathers fights it won't live up to the hype.

Floyd is a great scientific boxer and Manny is past his prime but can absorb a lot of punishment.

Bet on this one to go the distance.

Mayweather to win in a unanimous decision.

Can't lose, money in the bank.

Is there even a line on this fight?

Like most others, I’m rooting for Pacquiao but this fight is easy to call. Mayweather is bigger and better than Pac.

Pac had a chance a number of years ago when he had that incredible run stepping up to beat bigger fighters Cotto, DelaHoya and Margarito. But without whatever it might be that gave him the “juice” to accomplish that he ain’t going to be competitive against Mayweather.

I don’t think it’ll go the distance but Mayweather to win, although I’d prefer Manny..

OK I will take Pacqiao without the odds. Loser sends Jim a hundred. Good to go?

I would be very surprised if it does not go the distance.

I say Mayweather wins a close decision, which of course, will set up a rematch in the not-so-distance future.

The good news for Pacquiao fans is that I suck at sports predictions. So Manny will probably win by a knockout.

Yeah I think mayweather’s weight/height will help him absorb more and prevail in the end- I think Manny’s size ‘might’ be his undoing in the end- but it’s going to be close I think

Going to be a very interesting bout- one of the most significant in a long time.

If the fight was help at Jerryworld, we could have seen 100,000+ fans packed into the stadium - but LV would lose some revenue.

Main reason that I think Mayweather will win is that the judges will all be able to buy their own island after the fight.

Good point, the blacks and Latinos would fill the place up.

Completely agree. The judges and ref will be supporting Mayweather he creates so much economic activity in Vegas they can't let him lose.

Maidana is the most recent example. Hatton is another one that comes to mind. His game was based on inside pressure and every time he got in close on Floyd the ref broke it up.

I'm a big shot when the money is hypothetical but, if the winnings go to Jim, I could live with that.

Let me think on it a spell.
