It is no accident that Jobs focused heavily on style. It sells product. Sometimes. They didn't have any luck in the server market because data center manager wouldn't pay extra for pretty boxes that were going to get racked up in dark glass rooms where nobody could see them.

I can see that. I would suppose the best characteristic of a server would be cost and reliability as well as ease of configuration. Bells and Whistles are not needed.
