It’s a dark comedy and one of my favorite movies... hard to believe it was so long ago already.
Harry Reid is CLEARLY the basis for the corrupt Nevada Gaming Commissioner character, whose initials were also H.R.
25 years ago? Damn, I’m getting old. Great movie!
I really feel old suddenly.
WHOOPS! Sorry, I was thinking of, “Casino”.
It was brilliant. I thought Casino was over the top
"The violent, profane, and often funny film..."
You find it funny? As in funny like a clown?"
Classic movie with a great soundtrack. To this day I can’t hear the end of Layla without picturing bodies sliding out of a dumpster.
Joe Pesci is quite possibly, one of the top ten actors of all time. The man completely STOLE that movie. Hell, even I was scared of getting whacked.
“Here’s an arm...Hey, here’s a leg. Here’s a wing. Hey, what do you like, the leg or the wing, Henry? Or do you still go for the old hearts and lungs?”
I was wondering if that was the one in which Joe Pesci gets whacked near the end. He so richly deserved it but I still felt a little sorry for him and his brother.
Casino...aka "The Revenge of Billy Batts."
I can't really see him in The Notebook, Saving Private Ryan, Star Wars, or for that matter any other vehicle that isn't full of Italian criminals.
Also, Pesci has a good comedy side. If you haven't seen "My Cousin Vinny," it is freaking hilarious.
It’s one of the flicks I’ll turn on no matter how far into the movie it is. A definite classic.

26 things i didn’t know, I never heard of it!
It's Casino, where he and his brother get whacked. In Goodfellas he gets whacked while being tricked into thinking he was about to become a "made man."
Thanks, I am not sure if I have seen “Goodfellas” but I definitely have seen “My Cousin Vinny”, which was pretty good.
