If that’s not the case, Sanchez may be the first to see the door. I don’t see coach as tolerating internal squabbles playing out in the media. Sanchez is definitely not the future, so he’d be an easy one to use as an example. This coach has jettisoned one of the better receivers in the league and one of the best running backs. He’l certainly send a crappy backup packing.

One of the things I like about the NFL is that it is the ultimate meritocracy. If Tebow does better than Sanchez in practices, film study, and pre-season games than he stays on the roster and Sanchez goes. With that said, Sanchez has better physical tools than Tebow does and will not be shaking off two years of rust when camp opens in July.
