I seem to recall something about “excessive fines” in the Eighth Amendment.

I seem to recall something about “excessive fines” in the Eighth Amendment.

They are trying to get past that by saying the money is to compensate the lesbians for their pain and suffering, as opposed to being fines to punish the baker for their wrong thinking...
