I looked up your bio and see that you were born in 1987. Which means you aren’t likely to remember the Rodney King riots, let alone the riots in the 60s.

To get a sense of what your fellow Americans in this part Baltimore are thinking, and since you are in the news business, I recommend you find and watch the tapes of the CNN feed from today’s “Situation Room’. Particularly the “man on the street” interviews in the last hour or so.

The CNN guy did a superb job interviewing people (even as the fire hose was being slashed behind him)

Mall being looted at this hour .... Just watched a systematic looting at another beauty supply store..... It’s always these beauty supply stores they go for first .... Looters going through prescription drugs strewn all over the sidewalks around the burning CVS ....

Pathetic state of affairs ....

Is that the same CNN reporter who said (when asked why these people are burning down the CVS in their own neighborhood) started yammering about how it broke his heart that he didn’t see any place selling fresh fruit in the neighborhood?
