My feelings exactly. The correct way to drive is to stay in the right lane until you need to pass, then once you have passed get back in the right lane. We are becoming a country of jerks who camp in the middle and left lanes with no rhyme or reason for being there. If you find yourself driving in the passing lanes and the right lane is empty, and you do not move to the right, you my friend are a d-bag. In the last few years it is getting worse and worse. I find that if you stay in the right lane today it is clear sailing, it seems all the traffic is in the left lanes.
If you’re being passed on the right you need to move right. If there are open lanes you need to move right.
If you are going to pass someone you need to move left
It really isn’t difficult. If someone else is driving faster than you, get out of their way. For all we know they have a sick kid going to the hospital in the back seat.
I’m curious where you live because your comments don’t make sense to me.
I fish walleye and travel thru Lansing and Detroit to get to the Detroit river. When I haul my boat I stay one lane over if three lanes or more because the jackasses won’t give room to allow for merging traffic.
Jerks pass in a hurry then try to cut in front of me and spike their brakes to keep from rear ending vehicles in front of me. I am hauling 6,000 lbs. On a trailer. I can’t stop on a dime.
One of these days a S.U.V. mom or sport car middle aged guy is gonna go for a ride on my front bumper.
The left lane is for passing in Texas. The DPS will pull you over for hogging it.
