There are no tuna canneries in California. The last one closed decades ago. The tuna canneries are overseas. This story is fishy.

Looks like the tuna is canned elsewhere and then the cans are steamed in California, in this case from 2012.

It’s not a cannery. It’s Bumblebee’s processing plant in Santa Fe Springs.
