JERUSALEM — A woman in need of a cigarette took her frustrations out on a man's car after he denied her a nicotine fix.
Security footage from April 28 in Jerusalem shows the woman walk up to the man pumping gas and is apparently dismissed. She walks away but turns back around a few seconds later, pulls out what looks like a lighter, and sets the gas pump ablaze.
The car catches on fire and is almost instantly engulfed in flames. The victim's brother was sitting in the car at the time but he managed to escape with no injuries. Gas station workers were able to put out the fire before the car exploded.
According to the Telegraph, police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld said that the woman had later been arrested.
The woman has now been ordered to undergo an psychological evaluation.

Is there more to this story? Maybe she knew the guy and was angry with him for something else? Sounds too extreme. She knew she might blow them all to Kingdom Come, no? All that for a cigarette?
Sure.
But I'll bet that instead of merely saying the guy didn't have a cigarette, he gave her a "You shouldn't be smoking, it's bad for you" mini-lecture too. Granted that it's true, but back when I smoked (the 70's) the last thing I wanted to hear when looking for a smoke was some self-righteous person telling me something that was NOT at all relevant at the time.
Not that that justifies setting their car on fire. Just sayin'... :-)

One would think that a gas station would be the last place anyone would go for a smoke.
My ass...it would have been a PHYSICAL evaluation had I been there.
I was approached a few years ago at a gas station in Birmingham by an...uh, I think he may have been Amish...anyway, he demanded a cigarette.
I don't smoke, told him so, and he then demanded money from me to buy some.
I reached into my console, procured my 1911 and smacked him in the mouth with it.
Chaos ensued, ambulances were called, police responded, a crowd gathered.
The crowd clapped, the police apologized and the ambulance departed.
The Amish guy reposed in the back of the police car, after a 7 inch long butcher knife was removed from his sock.
They searched for his two teeth, but I don't know if they ever found them.
I went home.
Could have been worse.

Clearly a micro-agression by the typical male misogynist. She is clearly the victim here; denying a woman a smoke is caused by rape culture (/liberal think).
