That was Tebow’s issue i think. And RGIII. I think RGIII an still be good and rootign for Tim.

Let him carry a clipboard and learn for a couple of years and he will be fine.

You don't draft a QB in the first few picks of the first round and pay him all that money to hold a clipboard. Players picked that high are expected to contribute right from the start.

Exactly. Comparing the College and NFL game is just flat wrong. Two VERY different games.

It’s like Law School and being a Lawyer. You would think they would be pretty close to the same. They, most assuredly, are not.

“Players picked that high are expected to contribute right from the start.”

I agree. And if one of the teams picking him early play that style of football he will fit in well. If not, it is either clipboard and less money or Canada.

Hoping Marcus goes to the Eagles where I believe he’ll thrive.

I generally agree. I think he’s got the athleticism, the smarts and the work ethic to succeed. I don’t know how good he’ll be - no one does. I don’t know if he’s close to a lock at success or long-term starting because his style generally leads to an RGIII type soar and then crash.

Dumb article.... What team is going to spend a boatload of money on a first round QB pick and run a quick strike offense....like Oregon....

Way to many possibilities for injury.... That’s why you put 300 lb guys in front of them...
