Outstanding!

That is exactly what I was hoping for!

This is a must see for me then.

It's surprising that nobody came up with a video game for this movie:

Yep, that does seem like a good movie candidate for a game.

Here is the trailer for the Mad Max game I saw recently.

it looks pretty darn good actually:

Hmm, I read that it originally was written as a follow-up to Mad Max 3, way back when. They must have changed it since then.

That movie really was a “return to form” for Russell, since he hadn’t been getting a lot of great roles before that. He was stuck mostly playing “dad” or “old cop” roles, but he is best when he gets to play a bit of a scoundrel.

I’m willing to give it a shot with Hardy. Most Americans don’t know him as anything other than “Bane” from the Batman movie, where he was wearing a mask with horribly muffled dialogue for the whole film. He really is a good actor suited to this kind of role though. If he could pull off “Bronson”, he can pull off Mad Max.

It reminds me of the chase from the end of Mad Max 2, but probably ten times bigger.

I am not expecting much from this movie. I hope I am pleasantly surprised.

A friend of mine works in film marketing and has been seeing it in various states for the last year or so and he's raving about it. And he doesn't like much these days. Some digital effects, but a LOT of practical effects.

Also George Miller is a pain to deal with. They file relay a cut of a two minute teaser to Australia and come back the next morning to a two hour video of Miller tearing it apart frame-by-frame, which is something basically no other director does.

Have you seen the trailer for “Legend,” where Hardy plays both of the Kray Twins?

No, I haven’t. I did see the old film about those guys back in the 90s.

I thought the Cohen brothers' remake of Ladykillers was excellent - better than the very good original, in fact.

What movie is that?

I want to add it to my queue based on those exoskeletons alone!
