Only thing I see, being that high it might be a pain in the butt to get the potatoes out without tearing everything apart and some potatoes might be ready before the others.

Where I am in deep SE Texas it’s generally so wet we can’t leave potatoes in the ground for too long after they are ready for harvest or they will rot.

You clearly have good drainage but I don’t know how long you can leave then in there once they are ready.

I may cut it down about a foot.

I might build another about half the size and see which one does the best.
