If you talk on a horizontal phone no one will understand you.

So, if texting were done in cursive, is that a step forward or backward?

:)

Texting doesn’t tie up comm lines as long, it’s cheaper.

‘I still do not understand the purpose of texting.’

We have 3 daughters within 2, 4, and 15 minutes of us. There are times when one text to all 3 saves 3 separate phone calls.

There can be a challenge after that, however, and that is after the ‘cluster text,’ I may need to then answer all 3 separately because of their questions . . .

I have three siblings in the other three corners of the country. When my mom was in the hospital I was able to text them updates throughout the day. It meant I did not have to interrupt their precious schedules or take any time away from them, while I spent 20 hours a day sitting with mom.

It meant that I did not have to talk to the lazy jerks.
