I think her point of view is interesting and totally cogent-you won't hear nor see this in the MSM.

She is absolutely correct w/o calling attention to the fact of inter-generational welfare,food stamps, WIC, Sec8, Obamaphones,etc.
I'm thinking she's shooting straight from hip & is totally embarrassed and disgusted by people of color in Baltimore

Vulgar language, but the truth is certainly there. The obama’s and Al Sharptons will squash her like a bug for speaking the truth.
I may not agree with her lipstick color but with all due Battle Cat in Baltimore lays it on the line.
You won’t find that much anywhere as most blacks whatever their economic status would call her a “uncle ruckus” the majority of blacks don’t cross the line in serious discussion about their own except for the comedians on stage e.g., Chris Rock, etc..
Battle Cat in Baltimore deserves the credit for speaking her mind. I hope she doesn’t get roughed up because of this .
I only posted this this because a family friend of mine & I were talking about the past generations of black people in Balto Md who were hardworking-going down to “the Point” as in Sparrows Point, working at Bethlehem Steel, and all other occupations in between and keeping their families together and life was stable for many years and that stability crossed color lines.
There is no more stability in any working class families of ANY color anymore. The economic infrastructure that created societies up and down the east coast , for example, is all gone. You can say that just about anywhere in the US ,too.\\
Battle Cat has a good heart and imho it would kind of interesting to see her interviewed on national tv w/o
the raw language-she’s got her truth & needs to tell it-but
of course, the MSM wouldn’t want to destroy the myth of “oppressed” people nor the demise of the victim story.
it would be rather funny & strange if Battle Cat in Balto did go viral and she got up in Rev Al’s face & told him how it is.
Now that would be REAL tv!
she is wrong about one thing, when she says “this is not white peoples problems” Anywhere poor white people live nex door, down the street, in the neighborhood, it’s their problem.
I have a friend I went to school with, who just had a majorheart surgery, cut from his thigh to his throat. He live next to a “family” living in they granmamas house. 24 /7 drug sales, yudts with attitude, he has been threatened because he called police abou two young teenagers who were posing with a AK47 that someone had hidden in the trunk of a non running car. Police have told him “they aint gonna stand for him upsetting the neighborhood”. But they did take the gun, and a grown man later that week threatened him for calling the cops.
He’s got a problem...
In our town there have been 3 elderly white people killed by teenagers, (not counting young caucasian people or unknown causes of death)in the last 18 months. Barely a speck in Chitown, I know, but a 25K city , the latest victim a 94 year old woman who was used for target practice.
They ad a problem...
She is right, but she could have made her point much better without the vile language. (And the blue lipstick....)

Thank you for posting this... what a lot of people don’t know is how many regular black people from Baltimore stood in front of the BPD to guard them from the outsiders. Rows of them. There were many who wanted the media gone simply because they felt they were trying to start trouble. They wanted their city back to normal. As for her lipstick... not my first choice but hey... a lot of people don’t like my regular shade of mauve. :)
maybe Battle Cat in Baltimore put on the blue lipstick to get her point across and get people to listen to what she was saying.
Your welcome momtothree,I thought it was important to post this becauae it reflects there are people like Battle Cat in Baltimore who are disgusted with what is happening on the streets . I think she did a great job but I will partially disagree with her at the end when she says “It’s a black problem”. It’s all our problem and more specifically who we vote into office whether on the local level,state or federal level. Many people feel they have been betrayed .
I suppose that’s possible, but it is a distraction, IMO.
BTW, did your ancestors come from Sligo in Ireland?
