It’s not that great, IMO. The fries are too dark for my palate.

A 5 Guys opened in our town, in a vacant Friendly’s. We were very excited. At the onset it was mobbed. Now I see, that it is empty all the time. We don’t go back anymore. The staff *always* gets our order wrong. I predict it will close soon.

The squirrels at my bird feeders like the peanuts, I bring them, by the pocket full.

That is the only thing bad about In-N-Out, there ain’t enough of them. We plan road trip stops by their locations. Pathetic huh?

Yes, you're right, I will be helping Ronald McDonald. Do you like kale?

They should work to make their regular hamburger taste better. It still tastes as though it still has soy in it.

And I would like to not have the mandatory catsup and freeze-dried onions on it.

Why go to McDonald's when In and Out is just down the street?

The announcement yesterday - when Mickey D’s said the were bringing back the hamburgler - I first read as bringing back the hamBURger.

And my initial thought was, “About time.”

McDonald’s executive board obviously have a problem with pattern recognition. Maybe they ought to be retrained with the B.F. Skinner model.

Put them in a box, and if they choose the right lever, the stock price of McDonald’s goes up and they get a food pellet. If they choose the wrong lever which makes the stock go lower, then they get an unpleasant electrical shock.

It might take them a few months to a year to realize that their customers do not want to eat kale, and drink tofu and bean sprout smoothies. If they are slow learners, increase the voltage.

So McDonald's is telling America; "Let them eat kale." I sense a Wookie in the woodwork.

Guess I’ll be the first to say it: I don’t even know what kale is.

It’s a leafy green vegetable related to broccoli and mustard greens. It was brought to the country by Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson grew it in his garden.

The test comes as McDonald’s Corp. works to shake its junk food image

That's the problem. You are what you are. Caving into the food nazis as much as you have is why you're in the shape you are. You wanna mess with Kale, start a new chain called McFooFoo's.

MD, real beef tallow fried fries, you know like you guys used to make. Real hamburgers and cheese burgers. You know burgers that cover the bun? Also try selling Big Macs with quarter pounder meat, you know so they look like their pictures in the restaurant.

“Is Five Guys Burger and Fries any good?”

The answer from me is yes. The District at Tustin (CA) has both Five Guys and In N Out stores and both are crowded most of the time. The hidden secret is there is a Habit Burger across the street. It’s also very good.

I have an In N Out just down the street from and across the street is a McDonald. Guess which one has a lot of cars backed up to the street on Friday and Saturday night? yep In N Out. Ever since they built the In N Out, the little McDonald across the street rarely gets car but a few here and there.

Had my first IN-N-OUT burger a few weeks ago. Can’t figure out what is so great about them. Wendy’s has gotten their food quality back to where it was many years ago. A Wendy’s double, or even single with cheese is a complete meal by itself. Much better than IN-N-OUT.

My first McDonalds experience as a kid was getting two hamburgers, a shake and fries. If they would work to make their basic stuff as good tasting as they can get it they would reverse the decline.

McDonalds has perfected their breakfast menu. Now is the time to revamp the rest of their menu. Without resorting to kale inspiration.
