I was watching Backstrom and Battle Creek, but I won’t really miss either one. The Following was good for one season. The Messengers was only good for one episode. Didn’t see any of the others.

I saw one episode of Backstrom.....God awful. Sophomoric at best.

I haven’t watched any of the major networks in years. I haven’t a clue what these shows are about. But if MSNBC is thinking of going to conservative type programming I suspect the network ‘’moguls’’(I like that word, it’s funny.) are seeing the handwriting on the wall, only as far as profit, that is, and that handwriting might be that middle America(decent people) are fed up with the garbage they’ve been pumping out.

Here is a much more complete list of everything cancelled or renewed all year so far.

Gone are the days of the great, wholesome tv programs that lasted season after season. If Hollyweird thinks this crap they are throwing at us is going to be huge hits - they are sadly mistaken. Maybe they should take a cue from what is playing well at the movies - and it isn’t gay crap that people want to watch.

Now that I think about it, we don’t watch a single prime time network program, or any network news programs. We watch an occasional sports show and that’s it for the four broadcast networks. Believe it or not we find ourselves watching more and more PBS, especially the British-produced series.

Well, the world knows Emily is Amanda Clark. Victoria staged her own death to put the blame on Amanda/Emily. It looks like Jack and Emily will end up together. I think tomorrow night is the final, so we will see. Such a smutty drama but my husband and I got hooked, it’s like reading a tabloid. But the men going full gay put us over the edge and if it weren’t the last episodes we would stop watching, really disgusting.

Of all those shows I have never heard of probably 75%. The only one I sometimes watch is “Reign”. Not sure why I watch it as it is not very good.

I am watching “Superman” on METV right now. I probably will leave it on that channel the rest of the evening.

I haven’t been to a movie since the last Harry Potter. The movie before that was the previous HP. Same for the one before that. Don’t think I’ve missed anything.

Make that “HART of Dixie”, ack.

Every show I liked is cancelled. I’ll especially miss Dr. Henry Morgan.

Netflix shows seem to be doing well.

Maybe giving people quality shows instead of political statements disguised as shows has potential.

Backstrom is the only one of those I watched. Wife and I kind of like it. But he’s far too politically incorrect I guess. Sure, his roommate is gay, but he actually dared make fun of him instead of worshiping him. Even said nasty things about other characters. Guess it was doomed in all-too-PC Hollywood.

As long as “The Walking Dead”, “Bates Motel”, “TURN: Washington’s Spies” and “Impractical Jokers” are still going, I’m good.

Loved the way the Backstrom brothers backed each other up. But I don’t thing either actor will be out of work for long.
