K-cups are for people who can’t do simple math.

What irks me, is that these K-cup products have taken over so much *face* on stores shelves, food markets have reduced the number of other perfectly worthy coffee offerings on the shelves.

I’m a CPA and a tax attorney. Trust me, I’m really good at math. I’m also a Keurig user. I know I can brew better coffee in our other machine when I want to take the time, but most days convenience is more important. I would buy K-cups if the price tripled. My time is significantly more valuable than the change saved on a cup of coffee.

Why be insulting? If you don’t like K-Cups, don’t buy them. This isn’t a one-size fits all world.

You’ve just been suckered by a total garbage Washington Post article, so making assessments of other people’s intelligence probably isn’t a good plan right now.

I’m content to make up a carafe of coffee with my Gevalia coffee maker. I store the unused amount in the refrig and heat it up the next morning. The used coffee grinds get thrown into the garden or compost pail. Heating up the refridged coffee from previous brew does not diminish taste and in fact the heat reduces acid content. Works for me and I don’t have to mess with small plastic K cups.
