Word For The Day, Monday, 5/10/15
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
frabjous; adj.
1. wonderful, elegant, superb, or delicious.
Etymology: 1872; coined by Lewis Carroll in Through the Looking-Glass; perhaps meant to suggest fabulous or joyous
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Here is my example with WFTD.
Hope all moms had a frabjous day yesterday; mine was great except it was marred by a poor performance by the Caps last night.
No pushing at the door please!
Good morning! first morning I have not needed the space heater turned on in my ofc this year!
Speaking of good mornings, just a few days ago two terrorists attacked a cartoonist convention and lost - the most frabjous outcome imaginable.

Had a most frabjous lunch at PF Changs,wednesday....so much so that we repeated it in takeout yesterday.

Uh...oops!
did you copy off of Bob ; ) ? A+++
I coulda swore that the word frabjous was a made up word that was from Jabberwocky, not Through the Looking Glass... the line that sticks in my head is after the Jabberwocky is slain, the writer exclaims "Oh, Frabjous day! Calloo! Callay!"... but that's all from memory... which is basically shot all to hell at this point. I mean, I can't even remember what I has for breakfast today.
Haha - I didn’t even care enough to click on the actual site and see photos but the headline was enough! lol
They are honeymooning in Mexico near Cancun and plan to see the Mayan ruins....but he said they hate us there and they were not taking any valuables in case they are robbed. They get back Tuesday and I will breathe a huge sigh of relief then.
The wedding was awesome...in a building on the beach. We took lots of pics outside on the beach right after. This one appears to be a favorite.
From the lerft is our oldest son, me, the Bride and Groom, and my husband.
It's hotter here than in California during our trip. The trees were barren and it snowed mere days before we left, but it's full fledged spring with summer temps now. We have had the AC on in the house since getting home.
you look fantastic and that is a GREAT pic!! so glad that it was a wonderful time for all of you. The bride is gorgeous and the groom very handsome! I wish them much love and happiness!
That is a beautiful photo Ti - you look great and that is so great to hear from your SIL - I wish more felt that way.
