We used to get a good laugh when they came over to Brussels and tried to drink Belgian beer pint for pint with what they were used to drinking in Britain. Blind and legless.
Hah! I still cherish my memories of Sicily when some of the Sicilian tourist restaurants offered “pasta with chips”. (Or maybe I was jealous I didn’t have the nerve to order that myself!!!!)
