That’s pretty funny and unfortunately true. I remember my mom would never ever say anything at all racy or off color. We had a bunch of calves that we had to feed every morning from a bucket that had a nipple protruding out the bottom. She always called it a “dinner bucket”. When we were out of her hearing range, we kids called it what it was!
My grandson has come to understand that I sometimes use what my son calls “grandma language”. Just part of being around older people - we often tend to call it what it is without all the PC or sugar coating.
