Two Long Island men stole nine houses in Brooklyn and Queens and then either rented them out or sold them, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Danny Noble, 45, and Romelo Gray, 37, went to the city Finance Department and filed false documents to turn over the titles of seven Brooklyn addresses and two others in Queens, Brooklyn DA Kenneth Thompson said.

From June 29, 2010 to March 31, 2015, Noble and Gray allegedly stole homes in Fort Greene, Canarsie, Bushwick, East New York, Jamaica and Hollis that were either vacated or rarely used.

They are charged with conspiracy, criminal possession of stolen property, grand larceny and falsifying business records.

Noble’s bail was set at $250,000 cash while Gray is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

“The houses targeted in this fraud are worth millions of dollars. It is shocking that this defendant was allegedly able to carry out such a brazen scheme, stealing properties right out from under their owners,” Thompson said.

Meanwhile, the man accused of stealing a Hamilton Heights brownstone worth $1.5 million out from under an 85-year-old woman ran away from a reporter asking him about the allegations.

The alleged house thief Henry Rothenberg, aka Henry Yisrael, Henrique Nixon and Mr. Wall Street, was wearing black sweats, a baseball cap and a beard when he was approached outside of the single-room occupancy hotel on Tuesday night.

“Who called the press? He doesn't live here. You’ve got the wrong address. You’ve made a mistake,” the alleged scammer said, before running off.

Looks like some cushy top-level jobs will be waiting for them in the District of Criminals, once the Dems post bail...

Thou shall not steal. Looting is soooo low level but conniving houses with a big payout well that’s a sophisticated swipe. Either way karma will repay the offenders.

Remember back in the day when ownership was ownership of real property that the idea of "stealing a house" was preposterous?

“The houses targeted in this fraud are worth millions of dollars. It is shocking that this defendant was allegedly able to carry out such a brazen scheme, stealing properties right out from under their owners"

What do you expect from the liberal sewer hole of the east coast where a few years ago an 80 year old woman in Queens was evicted from her own house after an Obama son stole it and she had to go to court over and over and over for close to a YEAR to get it back and to this day I'm not sure if she ever did.

I guess they just did not steal any homes from the wrong people, if you get my drift, as they are still standing.

Only problem is the houses they scammed may have been owned by black people. Or some of the houses.... In that part of town
