Some NFL players have objected to the proposal I mentioned in my post #16 (TD is worth 7 points, then run or pass for 1 more). The objection is that kickers would no longer get those PAT one-point kicks added to their career point totals.
As if a kicker's career point total is all that important. I mean, who really cares? I just want to watch an exciting football game.
