“Meat — is still a central part of diets around the world”

As it has throughout human history, which is why we have canine teeth that are longer than the rest of our teeth and why caves that are hundreds of thousands of years old are full of cooked animal bones, and why if our ancestors hadn’t eaten animal products for hundreds of thousands of years, they would have quickly died out because that’s the only way for them (and us) to obtain vitamin B-12 in nature.

Oh, and BTW, looking at the process of “growing” artificial meat, it looks like it will be completely bereft of B-12, which means it won’t be life-sustaining as would real meat.

Never knew that meat is a source of Vitamin B-12. Must research this further.

Are veggietarians B-12 deficient?
