No mention of the victims in the statement. How about ruining their lives?

He should never have been placed in a public position, and, since his parents were well aware of this, his parents never should have allowed the FRC to bring him aboard.

Absolutely terrible judgment on their part.

It depends on his age relative to the victims. Peek a boo, if that’s all he did, wouldn’t probably hurt them.

The sexual misconduct activities of the conservative religious community are real enough, what’s heartening is that the parents and their child actually tried to deal with the issue.

I don’t think the the issue of sexual misconduct is easy to deal with, though.

I have identified with this subculture in my lifetime so I don’t post this in ignorance or hatred.

I could play the role of gossip but I choose not to.

I simply ask conservative religious people to consider their own sexual misconduct or wrongdoing and consider what actions they need to take to deal with them.

It should be a priority for the conservative religious community right now, even taking priority over criticizing the sexual activities of others.

Bill Clinton commented when asked, “haha, well, 17 years ago after being elected president of the whole united states of America, I did more than fondle a young woman, haha, in the “oral” office, get it, I said oooorrrraaallll office, haha get it...what’s the big deal. There are so many points to be made on a story like this, it could go on forever. To call the kid a "child" and naive at 14 would be disingenuous in some respects. I only gauge this off of my own experience and mindset... ie: I remember being 14 and I knew this was not just wrong, but VERY wrong... most especially doing something like this to a sibling. Not only was doing it wrong, even wanting to do it was wrong. And we all had the rampant hormone thing going on at that age, so this is no excuse either. One could argue that the subject was not properly addressed in the household, but it wasn't in mine either. My parents never told me "don't have sex with your sister"... social experience alone was more than enough to know this was a sick act and depraved urges, we all knew this just wasn't acceptable in any form. I'm not even sure how I would have reacted if I had experienced urges like this.

That happened over a decade ago though. I don't know this guy from Adam, maybe he completely regrets all of it and maybe it was one of those stupid adolescent judgement issues he wishes he could take back... we all have those, plenty of them. Maybe he's already made it right with God. Then again, maybe he's still a closet pervert. We don't know. Some people never change, and some people do. I might not leave him alone with my wife or kids, but I'm deferring this one to the almighty for ultimate judgement.

Didn’t that Lena Dunham skank admit in her autobiography to molesting her baby sister? Why is she not only getting a pass but still winning awards?

As someone who was sexually assaulted as a child, I would absolutely be beside myself to have that information made public by the media. Especially since I know it has nothing to do with me as a victim and everything to do with targeting and destroying a family they hate. To be disregarded and used in that way, is another form assault, IMHO.

I can’t help it; this seems unjust. If he did this as a teen and has not done it since, we should let it go. His parents watched him like a hawk and even turned him in when they caught him as a teen. I think it is safe to say he’s clean as an adult...so far.
