Therefore anyone, such as you Evan, who intends resistance (which is noble and courageous) must be ready to withstand not only a constant and withering barrage of ridicule and character destruction (psychological bullying) but be ready to be shunned, hated, written off as dangerously insane, and scape-goated. As an old song goes, “When you walk through the storm hold your head up high and don’t be afraid of the dark.
