"...even if the bonus is something you have worked your socks off for..." For those, you would have to work off more than your socks!

I don’t know what to say to this. *smh*
Every day I feel more and more out of touch with this world and I’m not that old.

A bonus. How sweet.
In the 50's the wife controlled pretty much the whole paycheck.
You come fallen a long way, baby!

Years ago husbands and wives worked equally on farms.
Then husbands went to work in the town and brought home cash.
Everything changed.

[Every day I feel more and more out of touch with this world and Im not that old.]
Then feel good:
1 John 2:14-18 King James Version (KJV)
14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Her husband rewards her ability to do well and keep house.
Lovely. My husband does it a bit differently, but any man who appreciates a woman’s place in the home is to be commended. Her, too.
Yay, traditional roles.

Just tell the wife to do her chores or you will withhold sex, all married men know that wives can’t go more than a day or two before they are begging for it.

It’s hard enough to provide your wife with a car, health insurance and some time off now and then. A man can’t even pay a salary for what she’s worth, much less a bonus.

"My husband pays me a wife bonus, and I'm proud of it its what feminists have urged for years"I thought legally everything was half and half. Giving the wife a bonus implies that the husband is the one who controls the money and doles it out to the "little lady".

Kinda what I was thinking. This is stupid. Since when did it become his/her money versus the family’s money?

If my wife increases my allowance, I might be able to afford to pay her a bonus!
To: Girlene
For some (not all, of course, don’t attack me please, ladies) the husband is little more than an ATM with no PIN.
A comedian once said: My wife and I have an understanding. What’s hers is hers and what’s mine is hers.
Of course, there are exceptions.
An attractive young lady I knew several years ago kinda freaked me out one day. She worked at a place I frequented. Walking up one day I heard her declare to someone on the phone ‘Well, that’s after I get half of my first husband’s money’. She was not engaged nor even dating at the time.

Can we assume from her comments that she is pro traditional marriage? We should thank her for her support!

More power to this woman. I get my shoes on clearance for around $7.00. And I’m picky about fashion, just can’t afford Chanel.
A monetary bonus for being a stay at home mom - LOLOLOL! A well adjusted happy child is the wanted outcome, not a pair of Louboutins.

These women don’t watch Oprah.
