Really?? He only owned up to it AFTER the truth came out.

Does this sound like a remorseful, penitent young man to you? Or does this sound like a child predator whose parents essentially let him get away with it (Jim Bob sent Josh to build houses with a family friend instead of getting real therapy, and the LEO Jim Bob had Josh talk to turned out to be a child pornographer).
I’m continually sickened by apologists for the Duggars on what I thought was a forum for moral, upright, conservative people.
I didn’t know he was joking about it.
That’s a different matter entirely.
That is not a penitent, remorseful person (I refuse to call him a man. He doesn’t deserve the respect.)
