Hunter Frederick, a Christian public relations expert once rumored to have been hired to help manage the fallout from the sexual abuse allegations surrounding Josh Duggar, star of "19 Kids and Counting," by the Duggar family, says the recent apology from the embattled Christian figure and his parents is not enough to sate the effects of the scandal that has engulfed the family.
"I have no reason to think their apology wasn't sincere, but an apology is one small thing that needs to happen in this very large problem," Frederick told The Christian Post on Thursday.
" The majority of people that are against the Duggars want some kind of legal punishment, which can't happen because of our country's statute of limitations law. That's why this whole thing is very sticky from a crisis management standpoint. He (Josh) has to pay his debt to society back in some form or fashion. Most of the time that's legal action, so how does that happen when he can't be prosecuted?" added Frederick, who is president of Frederick & Associates.
Josh is accused of molesting five young women when he was 14, but nothing ever came of it because the three year statute of limitations passed. His parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as punishment, however, sent him to the Institute in Basic Life Principles which "was established for the purpose of introducing people to the Lord Jesus Christ, and ... training on how to find success by following God's principles found in Scripture," according to the organization's website.

That not true in the times he molested the younger girls. He was 16 then, took one in the laundry room, told her her dress had a hole and he undressed her and put her up on the washing machine and forcible fondled her vagina and buttocks and breasts. That one is listed as a worse felony on the report leading to speculation she was digitally raped. The other younger daughter who was awake and forced as put on his lap for a story because mother of the year was just too busy. He forcibly fondled her. She was 4.
Based on the actual police report, imskylark is correct that most of the girls (at least according to the police report) did not know what had happened. However, there was one last (I hope it was last) very disturbing incident, and he was sent away the next day for four months. That incident might not be what people seem to believe it was, but it was alarming.

Really? Josh was working FRC and he and his family have been politically active in stopping transgendered bathroom laws in Arkansas. They were using their fame to fight for the right causes.

I think some of the victims are of age now and if they wanted they could get by the statue of limitation. Instead the police report was expunged rather quickly and so there was already sealed or expungement order before Janedoe1. So I don’t think what happened is as bad as some gossips make it out. I would not be surprised if some victims were consenting that is playing house. You know mommy daddy doing mommy daddy things. Girls enter puberty earlier than boys and I was close to 14.
Playing doctor doesn’t happen between teens and toddlers.
I don’t think you know what happened. Some of the victims are of age now and they can sue and prefer charges and toll the statue of limitations.

Kids got grilled by councilors about molestation “Never did anyone do anything to me, and I never saw them doing anything. I said a lot of things that didn’t happen. I lied. ... They may have enjoyed it. That doesn’t make it any better. They also may have felt terrorized. I personally don’t know any people who had positive sexual contact with other members of their family. I do know people who were abused and raped both by family members and by strangers. They have told me that when it happened they had an orgasm, but that didn’t make it any better.
It could have been consenting. It is Arkansas. It’s still not right for a 14 year old boy to be touching a 4 year old sexually. two four year olds who don’t know what they are doing is wrong and it’s curiousity and not sexual, that’s one thing. two 14 year olds fooling around is going to maybe happen in families, I don’t know. I never knew anybody that did that, certainly, growing up. But a 14 year old touching his four year old sister sexually? I mean, it bothered the kid enough that he told somebody. If he is truly sorry and doesn’t offend, I wish him the best. But I wouldn’t trust him ever again.

You don’t know what the pubescent Duggar kid did. The point is the councilor kept asking what happened til the child made up a story that the councilor wanted to hear in McMartin case. Judges and councilors and police officers have had their say and that is to expunge the Duggar case. All of Josh’s confession and request for forgiveness are not for public consumption. Any true Christian would cover their mouth and wait see.

Seems he got “better” at it as he went along. Instead of growing out of it, he grew into it.

It is fairly easy to figure out which one of the girls was the 4 year old when it happened. How she could know what went down (after the molestation) at that age and be able to say Josh was all better now is beyond me, but it’s there in the report.
They all seemed to toe the family line and were obviously coached by Daddy on what to say. Of course, they dutifully obeyed the Lord of the house and protected Josh for Mommy and Daddy.

As much speculation gets passed on around here like it is fact I gave example. Children see their parents grinding kissing petting then act it out in play are not held accountable like adults. We see Josh chronological age but puberty development is a big question. Josh was held accountable but Many here don’t accepts it and wants more.
The 2006 record got expunged too quickly for there not to have been other records sealed or expunged.
