Jejune

Adjective

    1. Not interesting; dull: "and there pour forth jejune words and useless empty phrases" (Anthony Trollope).
    2. Lacking maturity; childish: surprised by their jejune responses to our problems.
    3. Lacking in nutrition: a jejune diet.

Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.

The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

Done with work for the day-there is no electricity in the vaca place we’re putting tile in, and it is getting hot...

Polls show Obama rates worse
Than even Jimmy Carter before-
Numbers lower than whale s***
And that’s on the ocean floor

Just look at foolish liberals
Who are clueless and jejune-
They drink Obama’s koolaid
As he promises them the moon

They refuse to see what is real
Being in denial works just fine-
And Hillary loves all the fans
She sends to the back of the line...

I was so happy to read that the dog has a new home and people to love-she needs and deserves that-one of the neighbors who has a herd of goats has a Great Pyrenees-she is nice if she knows you, but not a dog you would want to cross-that is why they are such good livestock guards. They are rather expensive dogs to buy, too-at least here...

Thank you! I howl with glee every time I see that video bit with Hillary rudely telling the autograph seeker to go to the end of the line, showing what the queen of mean still really thinks of the little people-that has to be one of the dumbest things a politician has ever done...
