This whole episode is epitome of America’s problems reduced to dog schit. “Stay off my lawn”, “Keep you pets and kids away”, passive-aggressive behavior from a bitter old beta male, citing “safety of the children”. Next thing you know he’ll be throwing thumb tacks on the street or calling child protective services to teach your kid a lesson about riding a bike without a helmet or calling codes and compliances because of paint chipping on your house not knowing you just lost your job and are struggling just to pay the mortgage. If we could just employ common decency and neighborly principles, the world would be a much better place. Yes, the neighbors should pick up, but two wrongs don’t make a right and his wrong is much worse than the neighbors. What would Jesus do? I doubt call the cops or poison the animals.
