I keep my lemon tree in a rather small container to keep it small enough for the area I have to keep it in. Every now and then it gets so many little pea size fruits, that I take them off, because I know it can’t really grow that many.

If I don’t, it usually drops some of them all by itself.

I will thin as well if it doesn't self thin but for some reason it has grown more this year than I can remember. It might very well be because winter before I didn't get it covered and it died back almost all the way to the ground. Last year it put on plenty of new growth but nary a single lemon.

It's now well over 8 feet high and about as wide, not as big as some Meyers I've seen but still getting up there.

Hehe, now I'm wondering how I'm gonna get it covered this winter if need be....it's always something.
