Back in the day, leisure time was not thought of as a chance to veg out, but as opportunity to pursue ones passions and interests, an outlet for the sides of a man that were not stimulated in ones career. Unfortunately, we now often spend our leisure time camped out in front of the TV or computer. We say that modern life has become too stressful, that when we have free time, laying on the couch is all we can manage.
The truth is that spending our leisure time in satisfying pursuits, fun work, will refresh us far more than a non-stop marathon of playing Call of Duty. Hobbies can bring you joy, increase your eye for detail, keep your mind sharp, expand your creativity, and help you meet friends and learn valuable skills. They add interest to your life and help you become a more well-rounded man. If youve been feeling depressed, restless, or apathetic, the problem may be the lack of having something in your life you feel passionate about, something that brings you needed fulfillment.

Actually, that sounds like a helluva lot of fun. I am a bit twisted, though. :-)
Have YOU contributed? If not, why not???
This place doesn't run for free so cough it up, please.
Everyone reading this thread should give back.
#46 - Contributing to FR is manly.
Gads! What were y’all driving?
lol....I will tell Jesse that at Sturgis!
I have done many playthroughs and never got over lev 65/Nord. I simply couldn’t find anything else to do to level higher other than mindless grinding...and that includes the Falskarr/Wurmstooth and a couple other mods in addition to the official DLC.
One of these days I’ll do it just to get to the ebony warrior out at lev80 and wax him.
Skyrim is life ;) Well unless your a liberal imperialist...
Now *this* is my idea of a night out.
When I covered the Baja 2000 in 2000 for Off-Road.com, we had that song in rotation on the CD all the way down the peninsula. Lunberjack, Jim Croce’s Ball of Kerimuir (sp?), Wall of Voodoo’s Mexican Radio and a few others like that. Fun times ;)
I got a 36ft Tashiba. Soon as I retire we’re crossing the ocean.
Amateur Astronomy (good to know there are a number of guys who do this)
Historical Board Wargaming (Squad Leader, and many others)
Use to be building and tweaking computers, but, the boat is just too small to keep them on board.
Shooting my Glock.
It was a joint effort between my nephew and I. I wanna get to lvl 80 and fight the ebony knight but too much game too little lifespan you know? I do LOVE Skyrim. I LOVE bashing your lame stormcloak buddies too.
Well that’s what you liberal imperials do isn’t it? O-press native people? Typical. You think you rule. And for the moment you do. But a got a friend up on a mountain see...and his buddies like dining on you imperial types. And I know the secret words to make it happen....he he....YES! I doooo......
Yes, I contributed to FR twice last month.
That for the reminder for this month.
Pony up, Freepers.
Very impressive.
Relic hunting and bottle digging. Two great hobbies that get you outdoors and can be very challenging physically.
Here is a link to a Youtube video of a Revolutionary War relic hunt I did last year.

Playing guitar, after 40 years of gigging 6 nights a week, I still enjoy sitting behind my pedal steels, or playing Deep Delta Blues Bottleneck on one of my Nationals. I’ve taken to restoring old Shobud pedal steels too. Working on a ‘73 and a gorgeous rare ‘63 Fingertip.
Do they still have metal shop in today’s schools or has that been banned already?
You still playing with that hack neighbor of yours? ;)
I used to wear pantyhose under my ski slicks. It was the easiest way to get into those old fabric-lined boots. And they were warm.
Honest.
When I found out I could actually marry Lydia in game, I got more excited about it than I should have.
I know many were defunded and insuranced out of many schools and not included in new school constructions.. I really wonder if any remain.
