Bullcrap! Modern day Marine Corps boot camp is just as tough as its ever been. I suspect the other services haven’t changed all that much either. The performance of our young Marnes, soldiers, sailors and airmen has been nothing short of magnificent in Iraq and Afghanistan. These kids are just as good as their fathers and grandfathers were. Talk trash about them all you want, but they are doing everything asked of them and then some.
