NAACP leader of Washington state chapter lied about being black, parents say

An NAACP leader and prominent civil rights activist in Washington state has been pretending to be black for years, her parents told local media Thursday.
Rachel Dolezal, who heads Spokane’s NAACP chapter and teaches Africana studies at Eastern Washington University, refused to directly answers any questions about her alleged racial ruse after it was reported.
A KXLY reporter bluntly asked her, “Are you African-American?”
After a stunned pause, she replied: "“I don’t understand the question."

Yup. White light is all colors. Black is the absence of light.
When it comes to reflected light like paint it gets a little trickier.
The color you see is the light spectrum not absorbed. For instance, trees absorb red light and reflect green light. Black paint absorbs all colors of the spectrum. White paint reflects all colors.

The visible color of an object is a result of the portions of the visible light spectrum reflected by that object. Pure white results from the reflection of the entire visible light spectrum (all colors).
Pure black is caused by the absorption of the entire visible light spectrum (i.e. the absence of color).

Black is the absence of light.
HOWEVER, if you combine pigments, black (or more likely a dark muddy brown) results from combining all colors.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking as well, she’s basically disguising herself. But woo boy, there is some major mental issues going on with this woman. Plus her bashing of white people, but on the other hand this seems to be the norm for liberals doesn’t it. Make pretend your a different race, they had no issues with Elizabeth Warren and Ward Churchill I recall got terminated not because he lied about being Indian but because he plagiarized a book. And already they are excusing this woman on Facebook, one person saying “It don’t matter because we are all from Africa”. Yes OK, so I guess if a white conservative used spray on tan and got her hair permed into an afro and claimed she was black it would be perfectly OK. Yeah right.
