Yeah, I think the Maginot Line proved that fixed defenses alone aren’t going to cut it.
Now, I’m waiting for all the liberals to rip into these guys as crazy preppers. I mean, because the liberals aren’t craven hypocrites, or anything.

Had the French finished the line the German tanks and troops would not have been able to get across without great cost. Since they did not finish it the Germans just rolled through the northern opening.
