I’m sorry to hear about your experiences with Russian passengers. That’s awful. I remember when some of them drove cabs in the city. They were completely nuts as well.

If you’re so desperate to find the Putin lovers, just put his name in the “users” search and flick through pages and pages of threads. You’ll eventually find them - look especially for those during the Russian Olympics. Other than that, I won’t do the work for you - or name names either.

I have spoken with some Russians. Some of the Orthodox ones are all right, but other than that, they are slavish automatons who drink like fish and mercifully die rather young of bad livers.
Russian mob style. I don’t think they do shotguns. The guests are lucky they didn’t get stuck with a poisoned umbrella...
Basically they were saying how much better the U.S. would be if they had a "manly" president like Putin as opposed to an effeminate one like Obama.
It got rather creepy too. They'd be posting pictures of Putin naked from the waist up and Photo-shopped to the body of a horse, alongside a picture of Obama doing something unbecoming of a president, like riding a bicycle or eating an ice cream. It was almost like homoerotic worship of Putin.
Like I said, it died down a year or so ago, around the time Putin started showing aggression towards the West, but for a while, it got weird around here.
Not that I don't think Obama is a joke of a president and is the most inept and unprepared president in our nation's history, but to position Putin as an alternative - not cool.

Yes, it was during this period that Putin and his minions were very popular with a group of Freepers because Russkies hate gays, so they must be good guys. Then Ukraine, war ships floating near Japan and military planes going over the heads of Great Britain. That stopped the half naked photos of Putin - always, weirdly, put up by male freepers, I think!
You gotta wonder if the shooting was not accidental.

My 2 cents: I have never met a Russian that was a good, moral person. Everyone of them: lying, scheming dooshes who’d stab you in the neck.

My Aunt Mara was a ‘white Russian’ who escaped the communists with her Cossack father to Hong Kong where she met my mother’s oldest brother, an Air Force pilot.
Except for loving lard sandwiches, her father was a normal Joe, an avid fisherman and law abiding citizen. His daughter was a real beauty as well as a talented artist.
It sounds like you are forming conclusions from sweeping generalizations and/or were/are hanging out with the wrong sort of people.
