You do understand this is about TPA (the bill about procedures FOR the trade deal) and not TPP (the trade deal)? You can't unlink them, no matter how hard you try. If TPA passes, then so too will TPP, and then there goes the ship.

No its the same thing. TPP has already been negotiated. After they finished they realized that it would never pass with the absolute requirement of 2/3 vote of the Senate.
So they ( after the bill was finished and can only be read in secret) came up with this scheme to subvert the constitution. It goes like this— Let us “bring back” the TPP and you can only vote it up or down. If you vote it “Down” under the terms of the TPA, it goes as a bill to the President who ,of course , VETOS IT!!! then to over ride his damned veto— they have to have a 2/3 over ride. Isn't that cute? You did know that — Right? Do you see the insidious ploy?
