Tragic and sad. Maybe the sedatives triggered something? I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted when I was 14 and asked that they put me under twilight sleep instead of general anesthesia. I understand that both carry risks, though the former has less.
I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at the same time just before I got out of the Air Force.
They gave me an IV, not even a local; That is how much I was out of it. I didn’t even fall asleep.
They kept me in the hospital for 2 days after that but I had no complications. My prayers for this family. It had to be a freak complication.
