I have and 85 lb. Pitador, a 110 lb. Great Dane, and one 5.5 lb. kitty. Each dog, through the claw treatment, has learned not to screw with the kitty.
Over the years, when friends have decided to have "mixed" households, they have asked me how I thought the dog(s) would manage with cat(s).
I ask if the cats have claws. If they do, I say the situation will work itself out.
