She thinks she’s smart, but she’s not. People don’t want to pay $15.00 for an album anymore, people don’t want to pay $20.00 a month for streaming. Spotify and Apple Music work because they allow users to pay a fair price, $9.99 a month, for unlimited ad free music, I can live without Taylor Swift on my iPhone.

Fix radio programming and you won’t have to pay ANYTHING for disposable pop faddle.

$15 for an album at least had resale value on CD or LP. There are no used mp3 sales.

Ebay facilitates listeners dumping last month’s fad for much better exchange rate than the used stores ever paid.

Also Miss Swift is wanting to be a artist with album sales (which come with awards and prestige). Selling or streaming singles doesn’t convince listeners to go any deeper than the hit(s).
